The Museum of Fine Arts in Rouen is one of the most prestigious french museum in province.
The permanent collections of paintings, sculptures, drawings and objects of art from all schools of the fifteenth century to the present day are exhibited there with of course a large space devoted to Impressionism and the works of Monet, Sisley, Caillebotte, Pissarro, Degas and Renoir.
CIRCUS AND ACROBATS: TO THE ARTS AND THE CIRCUS
From 10 December 2021 to 17 May 2022, discover the exhibition dedicated to the circus and acrobats.
Paintings, drawings, posters, art objects, costumes, toys, sculptures and photographs retrace the history of the circus and its intimate links with the art world and artists.
For the 9th edition of the Temps des Collections, entitled "Cirque et saltimbanques" (Circus and acrobats), the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen is hosting an exceptional collection, the J.Y. and G. Borg collection, one of the most important collections in the world. Borg collection, one of the most important private collections on the theme of the circus, as well as prestigious loans from major institutions.
Judit Reigl, The Vertigo of Infinity

Through five masterpieces from the collection of the Gandur Foundation for Art, this exhibition focuses on the fifteen decisive years following Judit Reigl's arrival in Paris in 1950.
For its second edition, the partnership between the Gandur Foundation for Art and the Réunion des Musées Métropolitains proposes, after Simon Hantaï in 2019, a focus on early works by Judit Reigl (Kapuvár, Hungary, 1923 - Paris, 2020).
